Unit 1 Social Studies Vocabulary

TermDefinition
citizen A member of a community, state, or country.
community A place where people live, work, and have fun together.
museum A place that keeps things for people to see and learn about.
communication The way people share ideas, thoughts, or information with each other.
neighbor A person who lives close to another.
transportation A way of moving people or things from one place to another.
law A rule we must all follow.
interview To ask a person questions and write down answers.
