oligarchy | one of the several people who rule a country or empire together, sharing the power |
tyranny | a person who seizes power illegally |
democracy | a form of government in which the ruling power is shared by all citizens |
aristocrat | a member of the most powerful class in Ancient Greece |
citizen | a person with certain rights and responsibilities |
assembly | a group of citizens in an Ancient Greek democracy with the power to pass laws |
