Egypt's Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom and the Kush Kingdom

| Ahmose | Egyptian prince who drove the Hyksos out of Egypt and founded as new dynasty. |
| New Kingdom | Time in Egypt that was prosperous due to trade and conquests. |
| Hatshepsut | Woman pharaoh who wore clothes like male pharaohs and also wore a fake beard. |
| Incense | Material burned for its pleasant smell. |

| Thutmose III | Hatshepsut's nephew who came to power after she died. Known for being a strong leader and conquering 350 cities during his reign. |
| Amenhotep IV | Pharaoh who tried to change Egypt's religion to worship one god named Aton. |

| Akhetaton | Capital city under Akhenaton's rule. |
