Why were the people in Jamestown not working? Almost all the people in Jamestown were either unable to work, or they were unwilling.

About how many Indians lived in this region? About 30,000 Algonquian Indians lived in this region, and they were split into 40 tribes. About 30 of these tribes belonged to a Confederacy led by Powhatan.
Who saved JOhn Smith from one of his executions? A 12 year old girl, Powhattans daughter, saved him from one of his executions.
What year was Jamestown founded? Jamestown was founded in 1607.
Who financed Jamestown in hopes of finding precious metals. Jamestown was financed by the Virginia Company.
What were the people in search for? The first people to come to Jamestown were in search for precious metals. The spent little time farming.
Who was the colonist introduced the first cash crop? WHat was the first cash crop? John Rolfe introduced the first cash crop, which was tabacco.
What were some problems with Jamestown? There were lots of misquetoes, low food supply, many diseases.
