Primary Source A document or physical object which was written or created during the time under study.
Secondary Source Documents written after an event has occurred. It is providing secondhand accounts of that event, person, or topic.
Canals An artificial waterway constructed to allow the use of boats or ships inland or to convey water for irrigation.
Irrigation The artificial application of water to the land or soil.
Cultural Hearth Maps, timelines, and/or other graphic representations to identify the location, distribution, and main events in the development.
