What is the time period of the Paleo period? 12,000- 8,000 B.C
What is the food source of the Paleo period? They hunted megafunda,bison,mammoth, and rabbit.
What weapons did the Paleo period use? Arrow heads
What type of shelter's did the Paleo have? Rock overhangs and caves.
What is the time period for the archaic period? 8,000-1,000 B.C
What is the food source of the Archaic period? Small game like rabbit,deer,nuts,berries,fish,squirrles,turkeys
What weapons did the Archaic period have? Animal bones were made into tools; hooks,awls,needles.
What type of shelter did the Archaic period have? Used skin and fur.
What is the time period for the Woodland? 1,000-1,000 A.D
What type of food source did the woodland period have? Used horticulture, small gang and corn.
What weapons did the woodland period have? Bow and arrow, and digging sticks.
What shelter's did the woodland period have? Wattle& Daub
What is the time period of the Mississippian period? 800-1600 A.D
What is the food source for the Mississippian period? Horticulture more advanced; corn,squash,beans,fruits,nuts,berries,deer and other animals.
What weapons did the Mississippian period have? Same as the Woodland period
What type of shelter's did the Mississippian period have? Houses made of vines and mud
