What are the two ways to amend the constitution? Give a list of some amendments proposed in Congress during several of the past sessions. 3/4th of the states.
What does it mean to "amend" the constitution? Laws are always open to Judicial Review by the Supreme Court. It is an integral component of the system of checks and balances that exist.
What are the three levels of government in the united states? Legislative, Judicial, Executive.
The first amendment protects the freedom of speech unless...? Except were threaten violence in public.
What is another name for the Executive Departments? Cabinet
What is the main job of the Executive Departments? Responsible for the administration and enforcement of the constitution and laws passed by the legislative branch.
What does the Department of Defense oversee? Supervising all agencies and functions of the government concerned directly with national security and the United States Armed Forces.
What does the State Department oversee? other countries
What does the Treasury Department oversee? Money and taxes
What does the Department of Interior oversee? Protects America's natural resources
What does the Department of Homeland Security oversee? protect Americans and the Committee will oversee the Department of Homeland Security's and disrupting terrorists or others who would hurt our country.
