| Why was America’s first form of government a failure? | The States had to much power. |
| What was the goal of the Constitutional Convention? | First it was to "revive" the A.o.C., but when James Madison suggested making a new form of Government with a form of checks and balances, it was agreed that the new goal was to do that. |
| What was the New Jersey Plan? | The idea of the Senate today. The number of Representatives would be an equal number, leaning towards the small states, and making every state equal. |
| What was the Virginia Plan? | The idea of the House of Representatives today. The number of Representatives would be based on the states population, giving the larger states an enormous advantage. |
| What was the Great Compromise? | The decision to create Congress with two houses: The House of Representatives, and the Senate. The H.o.R.'s # of Representatives would be based on the population of the states, while the Senate's # of Representatives would be an equal number. |

| What is the primary role of the Judicial branch? | To interpret laws. There main job deciding what is constitutional. |
| What are the requirements to be a member of the House of Representatives? | Must be at least be 25, must have been a citizen of the state they represent for 7 years, and must be a resident of the state they represent. |
