invasion An attempt to take over a place by force.
cession Land that is given to another country.
hatch lines A pattern of lines often used by historical maps to indicate land that was claimed by two or more countries.
diversity The state of being made up of different kinds of people.
stagecoach A horse drawn, four wheeled vehicle that carries passengers and mail on a set route
descendent A persons child, grandchild and so on.
