Article 1 of Constitution part

Article 1 Gives Congress powers/limits. Congress= legislative Branch.
Section 1 Vesting clause= power to make laws.
Section 2 House Reps voted in every 2nd year by the people. Must be: 25 years old, 7 years a citizen and live where they rep.
Section 3 Senators for each state= 6 year terms, 30 years old, 9 years a citizen and live where they rep.
Section 4 States have power over elections. Congress must meet once a year on the 1st Monday of December.
Section 5 Procedures for each house.
Section 6 senators or reps privileges and restrictions.
Section 7 Congress makes acts through bills and bills passed in both houses become law, but can be veto'd by the president.
Section 8 Enumerated powers of Congress= make money and taxes.
Section 9 Limits on Congress= no titles of royalty.
Section 10 Limits powers of States= cannot create money.
