He founded Gerogia, and why did the King want it? James Oglethorpe, and the king wanted it as a miltary outpost between the english colonies and spanish America.
Whast the difference between a properity colony, and a royal colony? A Propierty company was owened by one person.
How was New Jersey founded? The Duke of York gave some of his friend to a friend.
What was the great migration? The movement of puritans to America.
Who founded Conneticut? Thomas Hooker
What New England Colonies provided religous freedom? Rhode Island and New Jesrey
What were Quakers? People who believed in peace and Harmony at all times.
What was the document the pilgrims singed while on the Mayflower? The Mayflower Compact
Why did both Roger Willams and Anne Hutchison leave the colony? For religous and political reasons
What Coast did the settlers settle? Alantic or Eastern Coast
Who were all colonies claimed by? England
Why was Maryland started? It was started for the ROman Cathoilcs. Was started by Lord Balitimore.
