Yalta conference

When was the Yalta Conference? In 1945.
What was clear by February 1945? By February 1945 it was clear that Germany was losing the European war.
So? So the leaders met up at Yalta in Ukraine to plan what would happen to Europe after Germany's defeat.
And how did the conference go? Well, despite their differences, the Big Three agreed on some very important matters.

What's the main thing about this conference? What were leaders able to do? Although leaders did not always agree, they were still able to negotiate with one another.
