Salem Withch Trail In salem, young girls were told stories about wicthes. More then 100 were arrested and tried. 12 were found guilty and put to death.
Roger Willams He opposed attendance to chuch. He did not support the New England way. He had gotten kicked out of the conoly.
Anna Hutchingson She believed that people did not have to attend church to worship god. She was forced to leave the conoly. She escaped to Rhode Island in 1638.
Pilgrams In 1620, the pilgrams sailed on the mayflower. They were blown off there couse, and they landed in a place called new england. The men of the ship had to sigh a agreement called the mayflower compact. Arter the first witer many had died.
purtins Were anothe religios group that also left england to escape perseution. They wanted to reform the church of england by "purifing" some of its practices that were similar to the catholic church. There departure was know as the great migrartion.
king philps war It took place in 1675. It stared because the massachusetts colony grew and they stared to take native americans land.
