Amendment 11 The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equality, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another state
Amendment 12 The president/vice president were on the same ballet. Voted together
Amendment 13 ends slavery ended slavery
Amendment 14 full citizenship to newly freed african americans
Amendment 15 this gave every citizen the right to vote including African americans and other people of color
Amendment 16 The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on income from whatever source derived
Amendment 17 direct election of Senators gave the people more voice in their national government
Amendment 18 outlawed the manufacture or sale of alcoholic beverages not allowed to drink because your 18 years old
Amendment 19 Women's suffrage women gain the right to vote
Amendment 20 Lame Duck Period shortened the time between elections of the president and congress and the day they take office
Amendment 21 gave people who live and work in the nation's capital a voice in national elections
Amendment 22 Limit the President to president can serve 2 terms, 8 years
Amendment 23 Suffrage to DC gave Dc people the right to vote the president
Amendment 24 Abolition of the poll tax takes away the tax to vote
Amendment 25 Presidential Succesion list of people who woud replace the president if something happened to them
Amendment 26 gave 18 year olds the right to vote
Amendment 27 Limit on Congressional pay raises Congress can't raise their salary until after voting
