Speakeasies: An illegal building where people sold alcohol
Flapper: Women who cut their hair short and wore short skirts to show that they were as good as men and they could make their own decisions.
Consumer goods: Goods made for leisure and entertainment such as radios
Standard of living: The value of life or the necessities and comforts of life
Liberal: Accepts change more easily
Conservative: Likes to stay traditional
‘Return to Normalcy’: A time without war and go back to isolationism
The New Deal: Set of programs adopted under the FDR administration to fight the Great Depression
The Great Depression: A period of low economic activity and high unemployment.
Anarchy A sate of disorder due to a lack of authority
