| Patriots (noun) | Patriots (noun) = Colonial Americans that felt that colonies needed more self-government, and wanted more independence from Great Britain. |
| Loyalists (noun) | Loyalists (noun) = Colonial Americans who remained loyal to Great Britain even when other colonists were criticizing the government. |
| Revolution (noun) | Revolution (noun) = A drastic change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time. Often a revolution results in a change of government. |
| Independence (noun) | Independence (noun) = Freedom from the control or influence of other people or countries. |
| Rights (noun) | Rights (noun) = Something that is guaranteed by a government or a religion. |
| Social Class (noun) | Social Class (noun) = Someone’s place in society. Higher classes are traditionally more wealthy and have more privileges. |

| Propaganda (noun) | Propaganda (noun) = Misleading information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation, etc. |
