The leading manufactured product in Kentucky is transportation equipment.
Chevrolet makes all of its Corvettes in Bowling Green.
The county that is the leader in production of corn is Union County.
Kentucky rates second to North Carolina in total production of tobacco products.
Kentucky’s most important resource is its people.
The highest point in Kentucky is Black Mountain.
Appalachian Plateau, Pennyroyal, Bluegrass Region, The Knobs, Western Coal Field, and Jackson Purchase are the six major and regions in Kentucky.
The Appalachian Plateau is home to the Cumberland Gap.
The home to the world’s fastest horses is the Bluegrass Region.
Part of the state that has swamps and small ponds is the Jackson Purchase.
