What did the Articles of Confederation do for our country? Form a central government
What caused Shay's Rebellion? Farmers were upset because their farms were taken away if they couldn't pay their debts.
Why did Congress call a meeting about the Articles of Confederation? Wanted to make the government stronger.
Why were states opposed (against) the Virgina Plan? Large states would get more votes - unfair to small states
Why is James Madison considered honest? He recorded everything even if he didn't agree.
What was the Great Compromise? State would be represented by population and equal votes.
How did the Constitutional Convention count slaves as people? 5 slaves would count as 3 free men (known as the 3/5 rule)
