What was the Berlin Airlift? The Berlin Airlift was when the United States sent planes carrying supplies to Germany after the Soviet Union blocked off routes to supply resources. After ten months the Soviet Union called off the blockade
What does NATO stand for? North Atlantic Treaty Organization that was created to stop the spread of communism
How was the Korean War a form of Soviet Aggression? North Korea invaded South Korea by surprise that caused the United States to enter the Korean War and made an alliance to stop communism
How was the Space Race a form of Containment? After the launch of Sputnik, the United States believed the Soviet Union would invade the personal space of the United States and its allies launch missiles from space so they sped up their space equipment
