Mexican Independence

TermDefinition
Equality The state of having the same rights as all the other people.
Rebelllion A fight aganist a government.
Dictator A government leaderwho takes control by force and makes all inportent decisions.
Grant A gift of land given by a government.
Empresario A person who had received land as a gift from the Mexican government and could sell it to others.
Militia A group of unpaid citizens who act as an army.
Tejano A Texan who has Mexican ancestors.
