Equality The state of having the same rights as all other people.
Rebellion A fight against a goverment.
Dictator A goverment leader who takes control by force and makes all important dissisons.
Grant A gift of land given by a goverment.
Empresario A person who had received landas a gift from the Mexican goverment and could sell it to others.
Militia A group of unpaid citizens who act like an army.
Tejano A Texan who has Mexican ancestors.
