| GPS | Global Positioning System to show where you are and navigate you to a destination. |

| Distance Scale | A particular length or distance determined with the precision of one order of magnitude. |
| Directional Indicator | Something that indicates your direction like a compass |
| Inset Map | More detailed representation of a specific area on a map. |
| Legend | A key to symbolism used on a map. |
| Latitude | The vertical measurement. |
| Longitude | The Horizontal measurement. |
| Equator | An imaginary line drawn around the earth equally distant from both poles. |
| Prime Meridian | A planets meridian adopted as the zero of longitude. |
| Northern Hemisphere | The norther part of the earth. |
| Southern Hemisphere | The southern part of the earth. |
| Easter Hemisphere | The eastern part of the earth. |
| Western Hemisphere | The western part of the earth. |
| Continents | Large areas of land that hold countries. |
