New Deal Programs for the Great Depression

SEC Security Exchange and Commision- Ignorance in Stock Market- reports about companies
CCC Civilian Conservation Corps- Hired young men to plant, build roads, and complete other conservation programs.
FDIC Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation- People lost money and trust in banks- Gvt gave banks individual deposits up to 5,000 dollars money back.
TVA and REA (Tennessee Value Authority) and (Rural Electrification Administration)- Farmers without electricity in rural areas and problems from flooding in Tenn.- Modernized rural areas with electricity- made jobs too
SSA Social Security Act- Old aged and disabled people couldn't work-
WPA Work Progress Administration- Unemployment- Added jobs for building buildings, Tunnels, artists painted murals. It all gave people jobs in industrialization.
