The amendments

Amendmentdefenition
First amendment This protects what you can say and when you say it
Second amendment The right to bear arms
Third amendment The government cant house soilders and you have the right to say no
Fourth amendment Right to privacy in your own home
Fifth amendment They cant try a person without a grand jury indictment
Sixth amendment A person charged with a crime has the right to a speedy and public trial
Seventh amendment Right to a jury trial
8th amendment Excessive bail cannot be required
Ninth The enumeration in the constitution cannot be allowed to deny others retained by the people
Tenth amendment States have the power to pass additional lawn
