Bill O' Rights

Study Before Test On Friday!

1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8tWhat is the definition?
1st amendment:Freedom of expression. Freedom of speech and Freedom of religion.
2nd amendment:Right to bear arms. Right to protect yourself from intruders.Example:If a burglar is in your house,you can shoot them because you have the right to protect your property.
3rd amendment:Housing soldiers. The government cannot force you to house soldiers.
4th amendment:Privacy. The government cannot intrude your home unless under court order.
5th amendment:Double jeopardy. You cannot be tried twice for the same crime,and rights to a fair trial.
6th amendment:Speedy trial. More rights to fair trial.
7th amendment:Right to fair trial for everybody. This is regardless of gender and race.
8th amendment:Cruel and unusual punishment. You cannot be put into an electiric chair for only stealing a candy bar.
9th amendment:More rights. This is insurance for your rights and you have more rights than what is listed in the constitution.
10th amendment:Government It says what they have the power of.
