pyramid A tomb, or burial place, for dead kings and queens in ancient Egypt.

historical society A group of people who have a special interest in the history of a community.
cause The action of an event that makes something happen.
effect The result of something that has happened.
civilization A large group of people living in a well-organized way.
inventions Something that has been made for the first time.
colony A settlement that is ruled by another county.
