QuestionAnswer
What is energy? Scientists define energy as the ability to do work or cause change. (This mean that some form of energy is required for an object or a system to do thing such as move or generate heat and light.)
Give me a example of Potential energy Such as gasoline, a typed of stored energy.
How did we get Kinetic energy? When gasoline is burned in an engine, this potential energy is transformed into kinetic energy.
Why are so many people concerned into with saving or conserving energy if energy could not be destroyed? While energy cannot disappear, it can be converted into less useful forms of energy such as heat.
Why does human must have energy to stay alive? Energy provided by the food we eat and the beverages we drink powers the basic operations of our cells and allows our body function on day to day basis. The amount of energy in out body determines our ability to fight off disease and to think clearly.
What is our primary source of energy? The sun. The sun is the original source of food energy for most living organisms on Earth.
What is fossil fuel? The energy sources created over a long period of time by the decay of organisms such as plants and tiny animals.
