Gym test

Gym test- fitness testing

what are the 5 components of physical fitness? cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and agility.
what is cardiovascular endurance? it is assessed when we run the mile.
what is muscular strength? it is assessed when we do pull ups and flexed arm hang.
what is muscular endurance? it is assessed when we do sit ups. (1 minute)
what is flexibility? it is assessed when we do sit and reach.
what is agility? it is assessed when we do shuttle run.
how long is the mile supposed to be? under 15 minutes.
what do you need to do during the flexed arm hang? your chin should be above the bar without it touching.
what should you do while preforming sit ups? your arms should cross your chest and hands should be positioned on your shoulders.
what should you do when preforming sit and reach? you have to keep your knees locked in a straight position with both hands reaching evenly.
what should you do when running the shuttle run? you have to touch the line with only one hand.
