| How did the Inca leader get captured? | During the war Pizarro captured him. He holds him for ransom. Demands a room full of silver and gold. |
| After Pizarro received the ransom he did what? | He killed the leader anyway and took the gold and silver. |
| How many Incas were killed or captured? | 200 Spanish killed more than 2,000 Inca and captured 5,000 more. |
| Who is Hernando de Soto? | He was a Spanish explorer and explored the southeastern US |
| What did de Soto do in 1539? | He and 600 men sailed from Cuba to Tampa Bay Area. |
