Depression a time when industries do not grow and many people are out of work
economist a person who studies the economy
unemployment the number of workers without jobs
balanced budget a government plan for spending in whit it does not spend more money than it makes
bureaucracy the many workers and groups that are needed to run a government program
pension retirement income paid to people who stop working at a certain age
hydroelectric dam dam that uses the water it stores to produce electricity
minimun wage the lowest amount of money by law that a person can be paid
