Articles of Confederation

| Article I | We are calling ourselves the “United states of America” |
| Article II | Each state retains their individual rights and freedoms |
| Article III | State promise to help each other when their freedom and liberties are being attacked. (Firm league of friendship) |
| Article IV | Everyone is entitled the same privileges in each state, free travel, same tax system and common judicial proceedings. |
| Article V | Every state is allowed 2-7 delegates to congress, they can swap them out whenever they want. In matters of congress, states get 1 vote. |
| Article VI | Only congress can make treaties. |
| Article VII | States with the ability to raise the army make the decisions. |
| Article VIII | A common treasury will be established and paid for by states land value. |
| Article IX | Defines the power of congress (national government) and the powers of the state. |
| Article X | When congress is in recess 9/13 states can approve issues. |
| Article XI | Canada (or any other state) could join, but 9/13 states have to agree. |
| Article XII | All past debts are still valid. |
| Article XIII | Everyone accepts and agrees to the articles of confederation. |
