Missionary Someone who tries to persuade others to believe in his or her religious teachings.
Why was there unrest in Judea after it came under Roman Rule? The Jews were fiercely proud and independent people, and they rebelled against Roman control.
What are the gospels? The gospels are accounts of Jesus' life and teachings written by four of his followers.
Who wrote the gospels, and when did they write them? Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wrote the gospels. They were written about 30 to 70 years after Jesus died.
According to the gospels, were was Jesus born? According to the gospels Jesus was born in Betthlehem.
What did Jesus study and learn about as a child? Jesus studied Jewish law and Religious writings and carpentry.
Why was Jesus' baptism a turning point in his life? Jesus' baptism was a turning point in his life because John had identified hims the savior the Jews were waiting for.

How did Rome's persecution of of Christians help Christianity grow and spread? People admired they bravery of the Christians who faced death. Also Christianity offered hope to people who were poor, slaves, or less fortunate and offerd all people purpose.
