Constitution p.78 a document stating the rules under which a government will operate.
executive p. 79 the person who runs the government and sees that the laws are carried out.
economic depression p. 82 is a period when business activity slows, prices and wages drop, and unemployement rises.
Daniel Shays p. 83 led an uprising, former Revolutionary War captain,Shays rebellion led to the revision of the Articles of Confederation.
Judicial Branch p.87 would consist of a system of courts to interpret the law.
Compromise p. 88 is an agreement in which each side gives up part of what it wants.
ratify p. 92 to approve
Alexander Hamilton p. 92 Federalist, supporter of the new Constitution, he published the Federalist papers.
