Brahma Facts

Appearance -He is depicted with 4 heads coming from the 4 vedas. -He has four arms. -He is sometimes drawn with a beard.
Legend -He is one of the Gods in the Hindu triumvirate. -He is the creator of the universe. -When creating the universe he made the creatures out of his arms, legs, and his other body parts.
Family -Brahma's consort or wife was Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge -He had many children, two of his many sons were Dharma and Karma
Brahma Today -He is the least worshiped God in Hinduism today. -Unlike the other Gods Vishnu or Shiva there are only two temples in all of India devoted to Brahma. -Some say that he isn't worshiped as much because his role as a creator is over.
Brahma Today cont. -They say it is now up to Vishnu to preserve the world and Shiva to continue the path of reincarnation. -Although Brahma is one of the Trinity, his popularity is no match to the other gods.
Vedas -The Vedas are said to be attributed to Brahma.
Caste System -Many believe that the Caste System or four varnas came from different parts of Brahmas body.
