| Chromosome | responsible for passing traits of a cell to a new cell |
| Cell membrane | controls movement of liquid in and out of the cell |
| Cytoplasm | clear,thick jelly-like substance |
| Vacuole | large,round,water-filled sacs in the cytoplasm;for storage |
