Definitions/Notes/Questions and Answers

ReviewReview
History The study or record of what happened in the past.
Historian A person who studies the past.
Primary Source Information that comes from the time that is being studied.
Secondary Source An account of the past written by someone who was not an eyewitness to these events.
Artifact An object, such as a tool, weapon, or clay pot, that was left behind by people long ago.
Archaeologist A scientist who looks for and studies artifacts.
