The First 10 Amendments to the Constitution

| Freedom from having to allow soldiers to stay in citizens' homes in time of peace | 3rd Amendment |
| Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures (taking of personal property in your home) | 4th Amendment |
| Freedom from being accused of crime except by a grand jury indictment and from being tried twice for the same crime | 5th Amendment |
| Right to a fair trial in criminal cases | 6th Amendment |
| Right to jury trial in most civil cases | 7th Amendment |
| Right to reasonable bail, fines and punishment | 8th Amendment |
