Panathenic Games The Greeks often held athletic games to honor their gods.The Panathenic Games held many event such as horse and chariot races. The winner of the games got a gift such as pottery.
Olympics The greatest Olimpic festival, held every fourth year in honour of Zeus at ancient Olympia. From 472 bc, it consisted of five days of games, sacrifices, and festivities
