| Acropolis | The hill above a Greek city on which temples where built. In Athens the Parthenon was built on this great hill. |
| Parthenon | The temple honoring the goddess Athena , built on the acropolis above Athens |
| Myth | A traditional story that helps explain a cultures beliefs or religion. |
| Architecture | The art of designing building |
| Sculpture | the art of creating three-dimensional figures from material such as wood, stone, and clay. |
| Socrates | One of the greatest philosopher in Ancient Greece who shared wisdom and religion to his students. |
| Plato | Socrates personal student who taught Aristotle wisdom and religion. |
| Panathenaic Games | A competition to honor the Greek goddess Athena. It was held every year. |
| Olympics | A competition to honor Zeus. The games were held every four years and still live on today. |
