what is the definition of "constitution"? Constitution- A nations basic law

What was the Declaration of independence? Declaration of independence- American colonies stating their grievances with the British monarch.
What did the American Revolution do for other countries. The American revolution inspired other countries to rebel against there government to become independent.
What did John Locke have to do with American Government? He influenced the ideas of the American government
What saying of Locke's was altered, Who altered it, and what did it get changed to? "Life Liberty and Property", Thomas Jefferson, and "Life, Liberty, and he pursuit of happiness"
