TermDefinition
Fossil The remains or imprints of a plant or animal from a past geological age.
Archaeologist An expert who studies the past by examining objects that people have left behind.
Artifact An object made and/or used by people in the past.
Pre-historic Before written history.
Migrate To move from one geographic location to another.
Domesticate To train a wild animal to be useful for humans.
Agriculture The business of farming; growing crops and raising animals.
Nomad One of a group of people who move with their flocks and herds as the seasons change in order to find water and pasture.
