Climate and natural resources

climate Average weather of a place over many years
weather Condition of the air and sky at a certain time
Urban Located in cities
Rural Settlement in the country
Natural resource Useful material found in the environment
non-renewable resource Resource that cannot be replaced in a relatively short period of time.
renewable resource A resource that earth or people can replace.
fossil fuel Non-renewable resource formed over millions of years from the remains of anciens plants.
population distribution Spreading of people over an area of land.
trade Exchange of goods and services in a market.
Arable Farmable - a description applied to land that is capable of being farmed.
Gulf Stream A current of water from the Gulf of Mexico that moves north across the Atlantic, warming Ireland and the United Kingdom.
acid rain Rain, snow, or mist that is acidic
Pollution Waste that makes air,soil, or water less clean.
population density Measure of the number of people per unit of land.
