LPMS immigration

TermDefinition
Migration A movement of a large number of people into a new place.
Immigration A movement of people into another country or region which they are not a native in order to settle there.
Emigration When someone leaves their homeland to settle permanently.
Pushing Factors (Factors that push people from their country) Economic crisis, drought, overpopulation, religious or racial persecution.
Pulling Factors (Factors that pull people to want to move to a new country) Free expression, personal opportunity
