TermDefinition
geography The study of Earth and the ways people use it.
landform Different shapes on the surface of the earth.
ancestor A person in my family who lived before we were born.
producer Someone who makes or grows something.
consumer Someone who buys and uses goods.
natural resource A useful material that comes from the earth. Examples are plants, air, water, sun, forests, and soil.
crop A kind of plant that people grow for food or other uses.
conservation The care and protection of land, trees, water and animals.
