credit unit of measurement that schools use to determine whether students are progressing toward graduation
elective a course that is not reguired but can be chosen by students accordibng to thier interest
finacial aid methods of paying for education such as grants
GED certificate a document stating that a person has passed a five part test in the areas of writting social studies science reading and math
graduate school a program of a study beyond a bachelors degree
internship a temporary paid or unpaid positin that involves direct work esxperience in a career filed
OTJ leaning on the job
postsecondary education any education or training following high school
prerequisite a course that is reguired befor another course can be taken
tuition the fee that collages charge to take thier classes
vocaltional a course or program that teaches job and skills
