How did the Intolerable Acts affect the port of Boston? The port of Boston was Closed so that no ships could enter or leave the harbor. The harbor would stay closed until the colonists would pay for the tea. The people of Boston faced hunger and food shortages.
Give two reasons why the British insisted on taxing the colonies 1. Britian needed to pay off its war debt from the French and Indian war. 2. Britian thought the colonists should help pay this debt cause colonists benefited the most from the war.
What role did Native Americans play as France and Britian struggled for power in North America Native Americans tried to remain neutral, feeling that both countries were trying to take away their lands& way of life.Many sided with the French b/c they had a strong trading partnership w/them.The Brits ignored them & their rghts & cleared land 4 crps
