The War of Independence

TermDefinition
Loyalists Colonists who sided with Gret Britain in the American Revolution.
Mercenaries Soldiers who fight for money.
Minutement American colonial citizen soldiers who would show up at a moment's notice when fighting broke out.
Patriots Colonists who wanted to be independent of Great Britain.
Surrendered When soldiers give up fighting.
Treaty of Paris (1783) Treaty between the United States of America and Great Britain. Ended the American Revolutionary War.
