What is Stalemate? A deadlock in which neither side is strong enough to defeat the other.

How did the food administration help feed the troops? Wheatless Monday, Meatless Tuesdays, Victory Gardens, Food prices raised and farmers grew more food.
What were 4 jobs that women held during the war? Factory Jobs, delivered mail, drove trolley cars, delivered mail, police officers, RR engineers, eletric-lift truck drivers.
What were the requirements of the treaty of BrestLitovsk? Russia had to give large amounts of land to Germany.
What did the German's hope to accomplish by the "peace offensive"? Final push to end the war.
Who were the Harlem Hellfighters? An all African American unit that spent the most time under fire and won the Croix de Guerre for their bravery from the French.
