Democratic Based upon the principles of democracy or social equality, as in a “democratic government.”
Legislature An elected or appointed body of people (representatives) with the responsibility and power to make laws for a province, state, or nation.
Monarchy Undivided rule or absolute sovereignty by a single person.
Parliament Supreme legislative body in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Representatives People selected or elected to stand for and vote for the wishes of others at a meeting or convention.
