| What is a Primary? | Individual Democrats and Republicans in each primary state vote for their choice of a presidential nominee. |
| Who votes in primaries? | Democrats vote for democrate candidates. Republicans vote for Republican candidates. |
| What is a caucus? | Groups of Democrats or groups of Republicans meet together and decide who should be their nomination to represent their party in a presidential election. |
| Delegate | A person who represents a state for the National Conventions. |
| Donor | Someone who gives money to a presidential hopeful. |
| Nomination | The person who wins the most primaries and caucuses becomes the nominee for President for that party. |
